Kicking Away Back Pain

This week, we decided to chat with Mia Neuse, L.Ac., a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who works in the Montavillla area near the foundation of Mt. Tabor. Neuse is a graduate of a long time member of the East Portland Chamber of Commerce and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

We have found that it"s not so much as what game we decide to play but it"s our time that counts. I suppose we could play Twister but after a few excursions to the chiropractor after a game we would likely put that game away. Choosing a game needed to be something comfortable for all members of the family. The game couldn"t be so complicated that younger members would get upset or frustrated. The game needed to be advanced enough for grownups also. We found our assortment of games to choose from and I hope your family finds a nice selection also.

I suggest Biofreeze as an acceptable "band aid" for an injury. Sore quads? Tight hamstrings? Rub on the Biofreeze. From my encounters, I can"t urge Biofreeze as a successful long-term alternative. Injuries does not heal more fast, but it certainly can make sore muscles feel better for a short time. At the minimum, it can help to clear up your sinuses when you"ve a cold! The good news is that Biofreeze is a topical ointment which has much less danger of side effects such as anti-inflammatories, than other remedies. And--it is comparatively inexpensive!

Imagine if I told you that there is one bone in the body that can bring about rotation and head tilt, which then leads to shoulder hip rotation, turning, along with the shortening of one leg?

My advice: have some type of insurance, business sponsored or individual. The largest danger of all is to have nothing. That is a bet I wouldn"t need to take.
